Sometime our very best students are the ones who colour in the lines, take strong direction and derive their sense of self-worth from completing tasks and assignments in an orderly, timely fashion. But in today’s global world, students need more than the “Yes, Sir” mentality to survive and thrive.  They need to develop the ability to risk, to embrace failure, to question, challenge themselves through rigorous learning and, ultimately, keep their own score card. This will be the measure of how they do in the world outside of school.
